TikTok star Joshua Blackledge dies at 16

Influencer and TikTok star Joshua Blackledge has died. He was 16 years old.
An obituary posted by Noe-Brooks Funeral Home stated that he passed away on March 18 at his home. He had a "celebration of life" last March 23 at Camp Albemarle in Newport.
The cause of his death was not specified.
His girlfriend Emmie Gillikin, who also appeared in some of his content on social media, recently paid tribute to the late online personality.
"Missing this sweet boy right now. Never would’ve thought I would have been here without you," she wrote in a TikTok post, sharing a clip of their memorable moments together. "Josh showed me what love really was even [though] I'm very young. He never failed to put a smile on my face no matter how mad I was at him. Even after these past couple days nothing seems real and im feeling all the emotions."
Blackledge had over a million followers on TikTok, where he became known for his lip-syncing videos as well as car content.
According to the obit, he was a junior at West Carteret High School, where he also played wrestling and track.
"He had a passion for the outdoors and loved being around water, whether fishing or boating with friends. He also had a love for cars and trucks," it added.
