Meghan Trainor, Daryl Sabara welcome their second child
Singer Meghan Trainor gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Barry Bruce Trainor.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Meghan shared a couple of heartwarming photos of the baby, including one with her husband Daryl Sabara. She also shared a picture of the baby on her chest just after giving birth.
“On July 1st (our 7 year anniversary of our first date) we welcomed Barry Bruce Trainor into the world,” she said in the post. “He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz...and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin to skin time!”
Meghan also thanked the medical team who took care of her and Barry before and after the delivery. “Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of us,” she added.
Her shared post of Barry’s arrival has garnered celebratory greetings from her fellow celebrities and friends.
“Go Mama!! And welcome to the party, Barry!! What a lucky dude!!” American singer-actress Mandy Moore commented.
Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson said, “Congrats angel.”
Paris Hilton also wrote, “Congratulations sis! So happy for you!”
On Jan. 30, 2023, Meghan shared a sonogram picture with an accompanying message, “BABY #2 COMING THIS SUMMER.”
Meghan and Daryl are already parents to their first-born son, Riley, 2.
Meghan released her first book on April 25, entitled Dear Future Mama: A TMI Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, and New Motherhood from Your Bestie. The book was inspired by her motherhood journey and also offers expert guidance from her husband, ob-gyn, personal trainer, and registered dietician.
