Netizens find early romance hints between 'The Glory' stars Lim Ji-yeon and Lee Do-hyun
The Glory actors of antagonist Park Yeon-jin (Lim Ji-yeon) and deuteragonist Joo Yeo-jeong (Lee Do-hyun) surprised fans when they confirmed they are dating in real life on Saturday, April 1.
It was big news for lovers of the hit series as the evil bully and the doctor love interest have ended up together outside the show, which is nothing but dramatic irony for the wronged protagonist Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo).
Now, Korean netizens claimed to have observed unique body language between Ji-yeon and Do-hyun in promotional activities during the recently concluded run of the K-drama's second part.
In a Netflix commentary video with the ensemble cast, Do-hyun asked Hye-kyo if she really hit Lim Ji-yeon's cheek in a particular scene. Hye-kyo simply replied, "No, I would’ve gotten in trouble if I did that," to which Do-hyun responded in turn that it looked real.
"You're starting off with such a strong scene. It's a little strange seeing myself when I'm not emotionally prepared," Ji-yeon told director Ahn Gil-ho.
Even in the edited clip, Ji-yeon and Do-hyun proceeded to have a 10-second conversation by themselves in front of the rest of the cast.
Ji-yeon and Do-hyun share several scenes in the show. These include when Yeon-jin visited Yeo-jeong's plastic surgery twice, when she was coaxed by Choi Hye-jeong (Cha Joo-young) into going there, and when she visited to get work done. They also have car and morgue scenes where Yeo-jeong catches Yeon-jin both times in the villainous act.
The Glory revolves around a woman who suffered childhood violence and now dedicates her life to executing a series of vengeful acts against her bullies and their accomplices. It is divided into two parts, both of which are currently streaming on Netflix.
