Jessie J undergoes breast cancer surgery
Jessie J got real about her "highs and lows" after undergoing breast cancer surgery.
In her latest update, Jessie showed what her life has been like for the past two days after breast cancer surgery.
"This post is some of the honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours. I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through. Grateful to my doctor/surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me, and all my family/friends who came to visit," she wrote on her Instagram post on June 24.
In the post, the 37-year-old singer shared a selfie wearing a hospital gown, a photo of her upper body with doctor's markings of her surgical incisions, videos of herself before and after the surgery, and her moments with her Chanan Colman with their two-year-old son Sky.
The Masterpiece singer added that she's now home and resting while waiting for the results.
"Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this!" she concluded.
Jessie, who shared about her early breast cancer diagnosis this month, recently performed at the Capital's Summertime Ball last June 15, where she told the crowd it was her "last show before I go to beat breast cancer!"
"I want to share it with my fans and the people that care about me, and also, I'm a sharer. I've always shared everything that I go through in my life. Before No Secrets came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer," she said in her candid video posted on June 4. No Secrets is a single track she released in April.
"I'm highlighting the word early. Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word early," the Domino singer continued.
"It breaks my heart that so many people are going through so much. Similar and worse," she continued.
