Couple Vice Ganda and Ion Perez cemented their love anew as they got inked with several matching tattoos on their hands.

In a vlog posted on Vice's YouTube channel, the It's Showtime host documented how the two of them went to a local tattoo parlor to get not just one, but five couple tattoos on each of their fingers. She also teased that it was Ion's idea to get complementary inks to showcase their love for each other.

"Since we'll be partners for life, itong markang 'to ay for life na rin at wala nang burahan," Vice said.

"So kailangan 'yung pang partners talaga 'yung mga ilalagay namin, so 'yung mga bagay na hindi puwedeng paghiwalayin. Just like us," she added.

For the first couple tattoo, Vice had the words "I am" on the base of her thumb, while Ion had the words "with you" on his. Explaining why they chose this, Vice said, "We're very clingy to each other. Kaming dalawa 'yung hindi mapakali kapag hindi kami magkasama. Kapag hindi kami magkasama, hindi ako nakakatulog talaga."

On their index fingers, they had a smiley face because Vice highlighted that she and Ion "are each other's joy."

"He makes me smile, I make him smile. 'Yung jowa mo dapat source of joy mo, hindi ka iniistress ng jowa mo. 'Yung jowa mo, dapat pinapasaya ka, at ikaw rin ang dapat nagpapasaya sa jowa mo. Hindi 'yung iniistress niyo ang isa't isa," she said.

They also had the words "king" and "queen" on their middle fingers, two halves of a heart on their ring fingers, and lastly, the word "for" and "ever" on their pinky fingers in cursive letters.

Vice and Ion first made their relationship official in October 2019, announcing it in an episode of It's Showtime. The two had a non-legal commitment ceremony in 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States as Philippine laws have yet to recognize same-sex marriage or union.

The Unkabogable comedian recently shared that she is living a "joyful" married life with her partner and this has deepened her level of happiness.
