Angelica Panganiban mourns death of mother Annabelle

Actress Angelica Panganiban's mom, Annabelle "Ebela" Panganiban, passed away on Tuesday, August 20. She was 61.

On Instagram, Angelica announced the sad news by posting an obituary that contains the details of the wake and memorial service, which will be held at Aeternitas Chapels and Columbarium in Quezon City, starting Thursday, August 22.

The cause of Annabelle's death has not been disclosed yet.

Friends and dearest from the entertainment industry showered the actress' post message of support and condolences.

"Mahigpit na yakap momsy. Andito lang kami lagi para sayo. Prayers for you and your family," Kim Chiu wrote.

"Hug tight twinny one," Melai Cantiveros chided.

"Love you kambal," Anne Curtis said.

'Lahat ng meron ako ngayon ay pasasalamat ko sayo'

Angelica penned a lengthy, sweet message to her mom during her second wedding to her husband Gregg Homan last April, alongside a photo of them in the wedding dress.

She expressed how grateful she was for her mom, who always dedicated herself to caring for Angelica while she was growing up until she became a mom to Baby Bean. 

"Hindi ako magiging sapat na mama ni bean ngayon at may bahay ni gregg kung hindi mo 'ko napalaki ng tama. Lahat ng meron ako ngayon ay pasasalamat ko sayo. Ikaw ang kayamanan ko na kaya kong ipagmalaki kahit kanino dahil ang lahat ng aral na napulot ko sayo ang ipapamana ko sa pamilya ko," she expressed.

Angelica continued, "Hindi ako perpekto at ideal na anak. Matigas ang ulo ko at madalas nilalaban ko ang mga gusto kong subukan. Pero hindi mo ko pinigilan o sadyang wala ka na lang nagawa."
