Luis Manzano is clear of cancer following detection of head lump
TV personality Luis Manzano felt relieved after he was cleared of cancer following his biopsy.
The Kapamilya actor consulted a specialist and underwent several tests, including a biopsy after his hairstylist noticed a lump on his head, which he knew in the past was just a mole.
In his latest vlog, Luis narrated how his biopsy went to check whether the lump was cancerous, malignant, or benign.
"May kailangan i-biopsy dito sa taas ng ulo ko. Parang ang biopsy kung 'di ako nagkakamali ay i-check kung cancerous or not or kung malignant or benign," he said.
"Akala ko dati pa, nunal, kaya niloloko ko yung mga tao na matalino ako, may nunal ako dito [ulo]."
He added, "Bata pa ako, alam kong may ganyan na ako."
The 43-year-old TV host went on by saying that he felt okay after consulting four doctors who said that the lump on his head was not cancerous. However, he felt a little nervous regarding the biopsy procedure.
Luis continued, "But para sa akin ang main goal ko is to create awareness kasi napakarami siyempre 'yung mga binabantayan na mga nunal growth, kita yan sa mga katawan."
After the procedure, the TV host noted that he felt anxious while waiting for the results of his biopsy and other tests, adding that this was the most challenging aspect of his treatment.
"Ito na 'yung pinaka-mahirap sa lahat sa lahat-sa lahat ng mga test, minsan 'yung procedure itself hassle kung hassle given pero ang pinakamabigat diyan ay ang pag-aantay ng results kasi malalaman to kung benign ba to or malignant," he said.
