WATCH: Bruno Mars' nephews earn praise in 'America's Got Talent' audition
Bruno Mars' nephews, Nyjah Music and Zyah Rhythm, earned four yeses from the judges during their America's Got Talent audition.
The two young boys, aged 16 and 15, performed their original song Heartbeat on the 2026 edition of the reality competition.
"When I was little, we watched Grace VanderWaal's audition here. I think that really inspired me to come here," Zyah said. VanderWaal won the 11th season of AGT in 2016 at the age of 12. The boys also didn't mention that Bruno is their uncle.
With their mom Tahiti Hernandez-Kemper on the sidelines, Nyjah and Zyah made the audience swoon with their power ballad duet.
"Your voice and the quality reminded me a bit of Grace," judge Howie Mandel said to the duo after their performance. "I think you're gonna be memorable; people are gonna know your name. I think they're gonna be stars."
Another judge, Sofia Vergara, described the boys as amazing. Mel B, on the other hand, said the boys were likeable.
"I'm rooting for you, I want you to do well," she said before appearing to offer a point of criticism. "But I have to be honest also, the song didn't really connect with me. But what did connect with me was your vocals and harmonies. That I won't forget about."
Simon Cowell, meanwhile, said the boys have talent, before all the judges gave their yeses.
Nyjah and Zyah are from Oahu, Hawaii. They've been posting covers on social media since 2019.
In 2025, they worked with their uncle Bruno to produce a cover of Elvis Presley's Burning Love for Lilo & Stitch (2025).
Bruno, who's known off-stage as Peter Gene Hernandez, has five siblings: Tahiti, Jamie, Tiara, Presley, and Eric. They grew up in Hawaii.
