The Miss Philippines California—the official accredited partner for The Miss Universe Philippines, The Miss Philippines, and Mister Pilipinas Worldwide—has named the delagates of its inaugural pageant.

On Monday, the US-based pageant shared the names of the four ladies who will be joining the competition.

"With grace, beauty, and determination, these inspiring delegates are ready to embark on a remarkable journey towards representing California in the esteemed Miss Universe Philippines and The Miss Philippines pageants. Get ready to witness their charisma, talent, and dedication as they showcase the true essence of Filipino pride and empowerment. Let’s cheer them on as they make us all proud!" it said.

Among the delegates are Hanna Uyan of Southern California, Blessa Figueroa of Northern California, Janet Hammond of Southern California, and Kayla Carter of Northern California.

The Miss Philippines California was announced in July 24 with the goal of empowering Filipina beauty and diversity, while promoting the intelligence and talents of Filipino-Americans.

The pageant organizers wrote on Instagram: "The Miss Philippines California and our array of prestigious pageants unite hearts, cultures, and dreams, as we celebrate the brilliance, grace, and resilience of Filipino-American women."

"Embodying tradition and progress, we shine a spotlight on talent, advocacy, and leadership, fostering a legacy that inspires generations to come. Together, we stand proud, representing the vibrant tapestry of the Filipino-American community."

The winner of the said pageant will get a chance to compete in the fifth edition of Miss Universe Philippines.

Meanwhile, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee is gearing up for the Miss Universe 2023 competition in Ecuador on November 18.

In a guesting for a PLDT Home podcast last July, beauty queen said she is "constantly" preparing for the upcoming pageant with her team.

"My training has never stopped. I am constantly with my trainers. I’m constantly with my mentors. So, it hasn’t stopped but of course the frequency has adjusted a bit. But, full grind come July,” Michelle said.

“But of course, again I gave 110 percent of myself for Miss Universe Philippines, but Miss Universe is a totally different animal – you're competing against [different countries, so] just expect an elevated everything.”
