Wedding bells are ringing for actress Erich Gonzales and boyfriend, businessman Mateo Lorenzo as indicated in a marriage bann posted at a catholic church in Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa City.

A marriage bann posted by the St. James the Great Parish in Ayala Alabang bear the photos of Gonzales and Lorenzo and the details of the supposed wedding, which will take place on Mar. 23, 2022 at the same church.

It has been long rumored that Gonzales and Lorenzo are together, the actress however, never confirmed their relationship and was evasive of the topic.

Though in 2018, Gonzales confirmed in an interview with ABS-CBN that she has a “consistent and persistent” non-showbiz suitor, whom she met in April 2017. She went on and said her suitor is the brother of Claudia Barretto’s then boyfriend Basti Lorenzo.

It was in 2019 when she confirmed that she was already in a relationship but kept mum about it, saying her boyfriend comes from a family who’s very private.

More recently, the 31-year-old actress, who just wrapped up her teleserye “La Vida Lena,” has dropped hints a few times on her YouTube channel and Instagram account, either showing she was on a date with a “mystery man” or tagging the man's Instagram account (which is now private) in her photos.

In September 2021, Gonzales and Lorenzo appeared to have unfollowed each other, which sparked rumors that the two have already broken up.

Mateo, 29, graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Management Engineering and took his MBA at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

He is one of the 12 children of serial industrialist Martin Lorenzo, who helms multiple companies, including First Lucky Agro-Industrial Corp., Macondray Philippines, CAT Resource and Asset Holdings Inc., and Restaurant Concepts Group, and ran Panacke House and Del Monte Philippines.
