Jericho Rosales on breakup rumors with Kim Jones: 'People are entitled to think what they think'

Jericho Rosales has reacted to rumors that he and Kim Jones have called it quits.

In a recent interview with entertainment outlet Pep.ph, the actor said he sees no reason to explain himself and certain matters concerning his personal life to anyone. "People are entitled to think what they think. I mean, ano ang gagawin ko? Tatawa lang ako."

"But it's okay, people are entitled to their own opinion, I'm really not that type of person na I really have to explain myself to anyone," the actor said.

"What you see is what you get. As long as [we] Iive in peace, in love and respect, 'yun na ang importante sa akin," he continued.

Breakup rumors between the two began circulating on social media in 2022 when fans noticed they were no longer posting photos of themselves together.

In September of the same year, Kim put an end to the speculations by posting a short but sweet message for Jericho on his 43rd birthday.

"Birthday boy in his natural habitat. This year is yours @jerichorosalesofficial!!!!” she captioned her post.

To which, he replied: "I loooove! Back at you." He accompanied his comment with emojis of a crown and an orange heart.

The split rumors continued to swirl online even after the post.

Jericho and Kim have been married since May 2014. 

They met in March 2011 through a mutual friend and became boyfriend and girlfriend in October of the same year. The two made their relationship public in March 2012 and got engaged in August 2013.
