Michelle Madrigal reflects on gentle parenting, saying that it will help create a deep bond and "encourage a safe [and] nurturing environment" for her daughter, Anika.

The former actress-turned-content creator recently took to Instagram to share how she was able to learn “conscious parenting” when she welcomed her daughter, Anika.

“Coming from a different era, I had to learn the art of gentle parenting, aiming to create a deep bond with my daughter,” she wrote in the caption, adding that she feels “incredibly blessed” that Anika can open up to her freely.

“My goal is to encourage a safe, nurturing environment for Anika and any future children I may have,” she said.

“I believe in providing guidance without TYING THEIR WORTH to achievements, whether it’s in sports or any other pursuit,” the content creator stressed.

In the latter part, Michelle admitted that “Parenting is complex.”

“It’s about striking a balance between guidance and letting them explore,” she said.

“It truly takes a community filled with love, empathy, and patience to raise kind-hearted, respectful children,” she concluded her post.

Anika Austin is Michelle’s daughter with her ex-husband, Troy Woolfolk. They welcomed her in October 2017. The two ended their two-year marriage in 2021 but shared that they remain friends and will co-parent their child.

Apart from being a content creator and model, she also works as a realtor in Texas. She has been sharing life updates including her fitness, travels, and celebrating special occasions with her daughter.
