WATCH: Laufey tries Filipino snacks, Jollibee while in Manila for two-night show
Laufey is in Manila for her two-night show with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, and in between her shows, the singer-songwriter is trying out Filipino food.
The Valentine singer shared a video of Pinoy snacks taste test on TikTok on May 28.
"I'm in Manila in the Philippines and I asked you guys which snacks I should try and I got some," she said as she held up a box of grub including chips, candies, polvoron, and mixed nuts.
"Everything's so flavorful here," Laufey added.

The Icelandic-Chinese artist later brought out a bag of dried mangoes which she said she was excited to try. "I already know I'm going to like this. I love mango. And you guys have the best mango," the singer said in the clip.
In the comments section of the video, Filipino fans shared their excitement over the From the Start singer being in the country. Some even gave Laufey some recommendations for other snacks to try.
"Laufey, try [Mik-Mik], it's a powder you can drink!" one user wrote.
"[Try] Jollibee," said another. And the singer responded with another video where she and her twin sister Junia ate some dishes from the fast food spot.
"Ask and you shall receive," she said as she and her sister held up a bucket of chicken and a family pan of Jolly spaghetti.
The two tried out Jollibee's fried chicken, spaghetti, and ube pie.

"I think my favorite is the chicken," Junia said, which Laufey echoed.
Laufey is in Manila for her two-night show on May 28 and 29 at the PICC Plenary Hall with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra.
This won't be her only show this year as the singer is set to return to Manila for the Bewitched: The Goddess concert tour happening on September 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
