Doris currently contributes to the Point of View column of The Philippine STAR's Op-Ed section. Her first book, "JOURNEYS: The Rosary in the Lives of Wandering Women," was published by ST PAULS Philippines on December 1, 2018. In 2019 she authored and edited the book, "Come to Cebu, Our Cebu," a commissioned work in collaboration with young writers based in Cebu.
