Cecilia Guidote-Alvarez is the youngest Filipina Magsaysay Outstanding Asian Awardee for founding the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) and leading the Third World Cultural Movement in the International Theatre Institute where she serves as president of its Social Change Network. She is the artistic director of the Earthsavers founded by former Sen. Heherson Alvarez, and honored twice by UNESCO as Artist for Peace and the 6th in the world as UNESCO DREAM Center.
