Russian mother of 11 aiming to have over a hundred children
Yes, you read that right.
Twenty-three-year-old Christina Ozturk, who is married to millionaire hotel owner Galip Ozturk, currently has 11 babies (one conceived naturally and the rest by surrogacy) and she’s aiming to have nearly a hundred more.
Ozturk even joked on social media that she's looking to raise a total of 105 children because of her great love for kids. She, however, later clarified it was just a random number. “I don’t know how many they will eventually be, but we certainly don’t plan to stop at 10,” she told Newsflash Media. “We are just not ready to talk about the final number. Everything has its time.”
The wealthy pair currently lives in Batumi, Georgia, “where it is legal to use surrogate mothers in pregnancy, each of which cost around 8,000 euros or over R140,000,” according to News 24.
How does it work? “The clinic in Batumi chooses surrogate mothers for us and takes full responsibility for the process,” she shared. “We are not personally acquainted with surrogate mothers and do not have direct contacts with them in order to avoid problems after pregnancy.”
Her move has garnered mixed reactions online. While some expressed their support for the idea, others found it “wrong” and “selfish.”
