Fans of Love in the Moonlight have another reason to revisit the beloved K-drama, as its cast will reunite for a special variety show celebrating the series’ 10th anniversary.

KBS has confirmed that the special, titled Love in the Moonlight Revisited, will premiere on Sept. 16 at 8:30PM KST (7:30PM PHT), marking a decade since the historical romance drama first aired.

The reunion brings back the drama's main cast, including Park Bo Gum, Kim Yoo Jung, Jinyoung, Chae Soo Bin, and Kwak Dong Yeon. The five actors had previously been reported to be in discussions to participate in the anniversary project, according to Soompi.

Love in the Moonlight, also known as Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, premiered in 2016 and starred Bo Gum as Crown Prince Lee Yeong and Yoo Jung as Hong Ra On, a young woman who disguises herself as a eunuch.

The drama became a hit for its romance and the chemistry between its leads, with Bo Gum and Yoo Jung later receiving the Best Couple Award at the 2016 KBS Drama Awards.

The upcoming special comes years after the cast last reunited for a trip in 2024, when Bo Gum shared photos with Yoo Jung, Soo Bin, Jinyoung, and Dong Yeon.
