Here's how much it costs to stay at Carlos Yulo, Chloe San Jose's engagement venue
If Carlos Yulo and Chloe San Jose’s engagement photos got you wondering where the Olympic gymnast popped the question, here's some good news: You can actually book the same venue for your own getaway.
The couple revealed their engagement on Monday, Sept. 28, nine months after Yulo proposed to San Jose at Raffi’s Way, a rental villa overlooking Taal Lake.
Raffi’s Way has four bedrooms: the Master Suite, Family Suite, Deluxe Room 1, and Deluxe Room 2. The villa also has a private swimming pool as well as a living room and dining area.
The Master Suite serves as the villa's main bedroom. It comes with a king-sized bed, his-and-hers sinks, a bathtub, and a view of Taal Lake.
The Family Suite has a king-sized bed, two single beds, a TV, and a hot tub.
The Deluxe Room 1 has a king-sized bed, a lounge chair, and a hot tub.
Deluxe Room 2, meanwhile, has a queen-sized bed, a lounge chair, and a hot tub.
Guests can also enjoy the villa’s private pool, which has a stunning view of Taal.
The property also has a cozy living room and dining area where guests can bond during their stay.
How much does it cost to stay at Raffi’s Way?
As indicated on Raffi’s Way’s official rates page, an overnight stay costs P35,000 per night on weekdays and P40,000 per night on weekends.
For a group of 10, that works out to around P3,500 per person on a weekday or P4,000 per person on a weekend, assuming the villa is filled to its stated capacity.
The villa also offers a day tour for P15,000, which runs from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is likewise good for up to 10 people. That comes out to around P1,500 per person for a full group.
Check-in starts at 2 p.m., while check-out is at 11 a.m. Guests should also note that check-out extensions are not permitted, and that booking is limited to the guests included in the reservation.
