Dennis Trillo shared that his son Calix Ho survived a car crash after allegedly dozing off while driving.

The actor detailed the incident in a now-deleted Facebook post, saying Ho lost control of the vehicle early Monday morning on March 25.

“Kaninang 5 a.m., nakatulog habang nagda-drive mag-isa 'yung panganay ko. Bumangga siya sa island at tumaob 'yung kotse… Total wreck…” he wrote.

Trillo is relieved, however, that his son suffered only minor injuries and that no other individuals were involved.

"Walang tinamaang ibang kotse o ibang tao, may pasa sa ulo, braso, at maga ang kaliwang kamay. Hindi lahat ganito kaswerte sa aksidente. Salamat po at ganun lang ang nangyari,” he added.

“Lesson…'pag inaantok, 'wag piliting mag-drive. Pwedeng mag-stop over muna, para mag-unat-unat or umidlip,” Trillo wrote as a piece of advice to other motorists.

Neither Trillo nor Ho has issued any update on the incident.

The Green Bones star, whose real name is Abelardo Dennis Ho, shares his firstborn son, Calix, with model and beauty queen Carlene Aguilar-Ocampo, winner of Miss Philippines Earth 2001 and Binibining Pilipinas World 2005.

Ho is a gold medalist fencer, having won the UAAP's Men’s Epee individual event for the University of the Philippines in March.

Trillo will headline GMA's new action-drama series, Hari ng Tondo.
