Hey Pie People reaches more hungry foodies with new Eastwood pick-up point

Foodies in northern Metro Manila no longer need to travel far to get their fix of Hey Pie People.

Since the shop opened during the pandemic, Reanne Young-Sagan's humble pies—famed for their buttery crust and unique, changing flavor fillings—have captured more hearts (and stomachs).

The past two years were big for Hey Pie People, as it collaborated with established names in the food world, like the Michelin-starred Toyo Eatery and American chain Shake Shack. In 2026, it kicked off the year by adding another pickup point, apart from Rockwell and Alabang: Eastwood in Quezon City.

"When we used to only have pick-ups and deliveries and Alabang, we saw that a lot of our pie pick-ups were coming from places like Makati, Ortigas, and even as far as Bulacan! We knew we had to get our pies across the city or at least find a central point where it would be more accessible for our pie people to pick up and enjoy our pies," Young-Sagan told PhilSTAR L!fe.

"We started with Rockwell having a pick-up point in UCC [Café], and having UCC Eastwood as an additional pick-up point was almost inevitable since it’s really where a lot of pie people are from. We wanted to be present where they are and bring the pies that bring people together."

With this move, the "pie people" can expect more daily slice drops exclusive to UCC Rockwell and Eastwood. Hey Pie People is also doing more flavors per week.

"Our Coffee Toffee Pie was inspired by our pick-up partner, UCC, so people can also expect more pie flavors that will go well with their favorite beverages, as a good midday snack or even as a way to end their meals," Young-Sagan shared.

Young-Sagan and her husband, business partner Colin Sagan, never imagined that they would be bringing their slices to a wider audience. "Our home kitchen has produced a thousand pies over the years and we've opened up our home to more people (some that have become friends!) than we can imagine, and yet we are still having fun!" she said.

She added that their family feels "blessed and grateful" to keep making pies that bring smiles to people's faces.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, Hey Pie People is offering the "chocolatiest" pie they've ever made in partnership with chocolate manufacturer Valrhona.

"Inspired by our Mississippi Mud Pie, our Valrhona Triple Chocolate Mud Pie is a dense dark chocolate chip brownie pie topped with silky chocolate crémeux made from 70% Valrhona Guanaja dark chocolate and creamy 40% Jivara milk chocolate, finished with hot cocoa whipped cream and Valrhona Caramélia pearls," Young-Sagan shared, adding that this special pie only returns once a year.

And of course, Valentine's isn't complete without sweet strawberries to show your love. Those looking for a fruitier treat can opt for the Strawberry Cheesecake Pudding Pie with fresh, ripe strawberries baked into a flaky all-butter crust, cheesecake pudding, and finished with a buttery cheesecake crumble.

"It's like your classic berries and cream fruit pie marrying an indulgent, creamy cheesecake," Young-Sagan added.

Apart from the love month flavors, Young-Sagan (who's Chinese-Filipino by lineage) also made two flavors for the coming Chinese New Year on Feb. 17.

"They're savory, which will be the right balance to our two other pies," she teased.

All limited-time four flavors will be available in slices for walk-ins and whole pies for pre-order, pick-up, and delivery via heypiepeople.cococart.co.

Hey Pie People's new pick-up point is located at UCC Park Café in Tower 2 of Eastwood City.
