Loewe releases its viral pixelated clothing in stores with price tags over P100k
Loewe made quite a show at last year's Paris Fashion Week with its pixelated-style clothes starkly similar to those you'd see on the popular video game Minecraft. Now, the Spanish luxury brand is bringing its viral "Pixel Perfect" collection to the real world as it began dropping these clothes in stores on April 11.
Similar to what Loewe unveiled in last year's fashion gala, the brand's newly released tech-inspired collection features the viral baby blue hoodie, brown trousers in Duchesse silk, and blue t-shirt with technical knit that all come with uneven edges and sludgy shadows that give off that 8-bit look.
Not only that, the garments were all blown up, making you resemble an avatar straight out of a video game.
Apart from all these, Loewe has added more options to its real-life skins. This includes a pixellated Loewe Anagram t-shirt, as well as baggy denim jeans, a trucker jacket, and a mini skirt with blurry rectangles made to look like big pixels. The collection comes complete with a two-way puzzle edge bag in satin calfskin.
To cap off your experience customizing your character err, yourself, each purchase from Loewe's "Pixel Perfect" collection comes with limited-edition pixelated packaging.
If you think the concept of the collection is, well, out of this world, wait until you see each item's price tag.
The cheapest item on the rack is the Loewe Anagram shirt priced at P32,900. Next is the mini skirt at P48,800, baggy jeans at P64,400, and denim jacket at P87,800.
Over to the more premium selections, the blue shirt with technical knit is selling for P102,500, while the brown trousers and blue hoodie are priced at P139,100 each. Last but way far from the least is the small puzzle edge bag, which you can get for no less than P197,700.
The collection is available in Loewe boutiques in the US, Australia, Switzerland, Mainland China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and other countries listed on its website.
