Dani Osmeña creates mix & match pieces for the ‘new normal’ bride
Talented young designer Dani Osmeña started her affordable bridal line in keeping with the trend towards more intimate weddings in this time of the pandemic.
Providing accessible choices for brides, her first collection features separate pieces comprised of six blouses and six bottoms that can be seamlessly paired and customized according to the bride’s preference. The line features minimalist yet classic pieces that can be mixed and matched to form numerous looks.
“My debut bridal collection was born of the idea that such an occasion demands a multi-purpose look,” enthuses Dani. “I wanted to create cohesive looks that easily transition from walking down the aisle to dancing during the wedding reception with separate tops and bottoms and detachable features. While this may be a non traditional approach to bridal wear, the pieces are constructed in traditionally bridal materials — French lace, tulle, chiffon, and duchesse satin — to give a bride what she has always dreamed of.”
Each item is easily customizable with additional features — bow straps, wings, puff sleeves, veils, as well as matching obligatory face masks — to suit the bride’s taste.
Looking good on one’s wedding day is possible without breaking the bank with blouses and tops that range from P5,000 to P9,000, while the pants and skirts range from P5,000 to P25,000. The garments are made-to-measure to give the bride the quintessential experience of having a bespoke piece made just for her special day.
