One of the most interesting parts of any beauty pageant is the display of the gorgeous and creative National Costumes.

The 70 stunning candidates of the 61st Miss International pageant, held on October 26, 2023, in Tokyo, Japan, showcased their country's rich culture and history in dazzling national costumes. From bright, unusual silhouettes to sparkly, artistic dresses, the delegates celebrated their heritage in style.

PH’s Nicole Borromeo donned a colorful Swaki dress with an exaggerated ruffle-like ensemble and headdress inspired by the beauty of the sea urchin. She is vying for the country’s seventh Miss International crown.
