Awarded and lauded for visionary leadership

Starting things off, Founder, CEO, and Medical Director Dr. Vicki Belo was lauded as one of the country’s top executives at the recently concluded CEO Awards by The Business Manual last Jan. 28 at Shangri-la The Fort. Honored amongst other titans of various industries, Dr. Belo’s leadership acumen was recognized by the esteemed publication. Having established her practice with a heart for serving her patients, she continues to break barriers in the industry whilst strengthening the foundations of her growing empire. 

“The CEO Award is a recognition that shows that the Belo Group is doing something right, and that it’s a name that’s recognized in most of the Philippines as synonymous with beauty, and that means a lot to me,” shares Dr. Vicki Belo. Other CEOs awarded include Sta. Elena’s Alice Eduardo, Jollibee Foods’ Ernesto Tanmantiong, BPI’s Jose Limcaoco, SM Prime’s Jeffery Lim, and more.

Additionally, a strategic partnership with the Department of Tourism further cements Belo’s reputation as the premier aesthetic and dermatological practice in the country, and its goals to make the Philippines a world-class destination for medical tourism. According to DOT-NCR Regional Director Sharlene Zabala-Batin, the Belo Medical Group is the first and only aesthetic facility to achieve this well-earned DOT accreditation, and this collaboration is set to open the brand and the country to even more opportunities and growth in medical tourism.

At its Luxury Wellness Travel Awards 2024, the Belo Group bested facilities from even the United Kingdom, New York, and other countries. Held at the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong, Compare Retreat’s inaugural ceremony celebrated trailblazers in the realm of luxury and wellness travel, as carefully nominated and voted on by an esteemed panel of experts. A world-renowned medical expert 

Lastly, the group is pleased to announce its participation in this year’s IMCAS World Congress 2024 in Paris, the leading international conference for dermatology, plastic surgery, and aging science. Speaking to leading international medical practitioners for the fourth consecutive year, Dr. Vicki Belo presented not one, but two research papers, both of which were well received. The first tackled the treatment of melasma in Asian patients, while the second discussed the positive effects of exosomes in dermatological practice in the Philippines. 

Her cutting-edge work, alongside the doctors and staff of Belo Medical Group, further establishes her as a true pioneer and one dedicated to expanding world knowledge through research in this fast-evolving field. “It makes me proud that we are invited to present, and not just be an attendee,” declares Dr. Belo, who appreciates the opportunity to represent the country in this global congress.
