‘Hakot awards’: Cebu City’s Beatrice Luigi Gomez nabs Best Evening Gown and Best Swimsuit awards at MUPH 2021

Cebu City's Beatrice Luigi Gomez showcased her A-game during the Miss Universe coronation night as the queen won both Special Awards for the Best Evening Gown and Swimsuit competition.
She first stunned the audience in her red one-piece and cape as she walked among the pageant's Top 16 contestants. She then stole the scene with a bright blue one-shouldered evening gown designed by Dubai-based Filipino designer Furne One Amato.
Apart from her Special Award wins, she also landed a spot in the Top 10.
Beatrice is an open member of the LGBTQIA+ community, as she's in a loving relationship with her girlfriend of six years. When called to claim her Top 10 spot, she affirmed that the Philippines is ready for an LGBTQ+ Miss Universe queen.
