Andanté x Anthill collaboration drops new nature-inspired collection
Andante Footwear and social enterprise Anthill are celebrating Women's Month by dropping a new collection of shoes and skirts using shared material.
This collaboration "is a love story between two women-led brands, expanding each other's worlds through new forms and fabrics," Andante said in an Instagram post. Even more impressively, the collection puts the spotlight on Anthill Fabric Gallery's weaving community in Argao, Cebu, which produces the enterprise's original textiles.
The Jardin Sandal by Andante and Anthill's Palda, which comes in Panyo and Nobela silhouettes, are brought to life by unique handwoven textiles from the Argao artisan community. Three new drops evoke the colorfully bright shades of nature: Meadow, a vibrant yellow-green plaid; Bluebell, a dainty shade of blue; and Tutti Frutti, a cheerful mix of candy-inspired colors.
Perfect for summer frolicking on the beach or down city streets, these sandal-skirt duos bring with them a strong line of empowered female artisans and entrepreneurs.
