IN PHOTOS: Rabiya Mateo, other gorgeous ladies of 69th Miss Universe shine at pre-pageant activities
Apart from preparing for the live show on May 16 (May 17, Philippine time), the 74 contestants of the 69th Miss Universe pageant also have to participate in a number of pre-pageant activities. But even if they are not on the pageant stage, they still have to look their best—as can be seen in their photos as they tour and explore the surroundings of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, where the pageant is being held.
Among their pre-pageant activities is a visit to Smile Train, an international children’s charity that provides free cleft repair surgery for children globally.
They also visited a number of establishments in the vicinity in between their rehearsals—while wearing face masks, of course.
Rabiya Mateo, the Philippines’ delegate to the 69th Miss Universe pageant, is, of course, included in these visits, bonding with fellow contestants such as Miss USA Asya Branch and Miss India Adline Castelino, among others.
