Dior releases skincare collection for babies, including 'scented water' worth almost P13,000
Would you buy luxury skincare for the little ones in your life?
Dior just dropped a beauty line for babies and kids, featuring perfume as well as beauty products.
Now available on its website, the Baby Dior collection has four items including a pastel pink or mint green bottle of "Bonne Étoile" or "scented water," which is called such as it's made to be a fragrance option for children without the strong smell of perfume. Worth $230 (almost P13,000), the product has hints of pear, wild rose, and white musk.
There's also the Le Lait Très Tendre, a pear-scented face and body moisturizer priced at $115 (over P6,000) as well as La Mousse Très Fondante ($95/over P5,000), which is an all-in-one cleaning foam for the face, body, and hair.
The baby skincare line also comes with cleaning water ($95/over P5,000) formulated with 98% natural-origin ingredients. It's amped up with mallow flower extract.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, the new releases are a "reimagining of the brand’s infant perfume line that originally launched in 1970."
Citing Women's Wear Daily, PEOPLE Magazine reported that Francis Kurkdjian, the luxury brand's perfume creation director, said that she has always been a fan of Baby Dior's scent and baby care line and was "eager to bring it back" when it was discontinued. He met with Cordelia de Castellane, who works as the artistic director of Baby Dior, to plan for the reimagination of the baby line.
"We immediately discussed, working together to build back this universe. Baby Dior was born that day," she recalled.
