LOOK: Naked dresses that caught our attention at the 2024 Met Gala

The trend of risqué naked dresses has left its mark on countless red carpets, and this year's Met Gala is no exception.

Hubadera stars from Em Rata to FKA Twigs embraced the "Garden of Time" theme, inspired by the "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" exhibit, with their daring interpretations.

The Met Gala, which is an annual event that benefits the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, was co-chaired by a star-studded team including Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, and Vogue's Anna Wintour.

Check out the celebrities who came to New York in see-through gowns.

Jennifer Lopez

One of this year's hosts, Jennifer Lopez, graced the annual event wearing a see-through dress that had over 2.5 million silver foil bugle beads and 800 hours to make.

To match her strapless Schiaparelli Haute Couture dress, J.Lo wore jewelry by Tiffany & Co., "including a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock ring that has a yellow diamond of over 4 carats, a white diamond of over 4 carats, and pink sapphires," said a press release.

Talking to Good Morning America, the singer-actress said she could "barely" walk in her dress, but that the Met Gala outfits "are not about comfort.”

Phoebe Dynevor

Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor is the first to wear a Victoria Beckham piece to the Met Gala. Her look that came "out of a fairytale" consists of a semi-transparent draped tulle and lace gown with hand-cut flowers.

“We decided to use vintage lace from our archives, as there was something quite romantic about reviving it and bringing it back to life – much like a sleeping beauty,” Victoria told Vogue. “[Phoebe is] such a beautiful, talented young woman and I really wanted to design the gown with her in mind – to be almost like an extension of her. We even hand-dyed the flowers to match her skin.”

Doja Cat

From last year's cat outfit to this year's wet look, Doja Cat sure is adventurous when it comes to style.

Doja Cat was first spotted outside The Carlyle Hotel in New York wearing a towel wrapped around her body (or what we call tapis) and a hair towel, plus a diamond necklace.

But later that evening, the Paint the Town Red singer changed into an oversized wet t-shirt dress that left little to the imagination.

FKA Twigs

Singer FKA Twigs was “dripping in Stella McCartney diamonds which are lab-grown” as she attended this year's Met Gala. She paired her barely-there outfit with a cream coat and platform heels.

Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning looks like a real-life Disney princess in this glassy transparent gown by Balmain.

True to the theme, Elle's sculptural off-the-shoulder wrap dress had songbirds coming off each strap and a bodice that shimmered like water.

She chose to wear silver heels and cascading diamond earrings by Cartier.

Emily Ratajowski

Hubadera queen Emily Ratajowski did it again with another barely-there number. She wore a vintage long-sleeved, open-back gown dripping with silver crystals from Versace.

Rita Ora

Rita Ora wore nothing but beads to the Met Gala 2024.
