Harry Roque is hospitalized due to COVID-19

Presidential spokesman Harry M. Roque was admitted to the hospital due to coronavirus.

A source told News5 that Roque was rushed to the hospital last night, April 9, 2021, attaching a copy of Roque's hospitalization document.

"I am now admitted in a hospital for Covid treatment," he said in a statement. "This is to say that COVID-19 is more transmissible now so we have to do extra precaution."

Despite this, Roque said that he will still announce the quarantine status of the National Capital Region Plus Bubble at the IATF meeting today. "I am asking for your sincerest prayers to all afflicted with Covid 19 in the country and around the world. God bless and protect us all," he pleaded.

This is his second time to contract the virus. Two weeks ago, he tested positive for COVID-19, and recovered ten days later.
