Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have split for good
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have ended their two-year engagement and have now broken up.
The couple, who had to postpone their wedding twice, has canceled their wedding for good. A source has confirmed to Page Six that it has something to do with the rumors about the ex-MLB star and Southern Charm reality star Madison LeCroy.
The source said, “The Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they finally broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed by it.”
However, sources close to A-Rod denied the rumor to The Post last month saying, “He doesn’t know this woman.”
But LeCroy’s claims say otherwise. She told Page Six that they have “spoken on the phone” but have “never met up.” She also cleared that they “never been physical” and that they are “just an acquaintance.”
“I don’t want anything bad for his family, or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this,” she added.
In January, A-Rod was in the hot seat after Twitter users speculated that he is the “ex-MLB star” LeCroy is having an affair with, which was discussed during the Southern Charm reunion.
In a recent interview with Lopez, the 51-year-old performer revealed that she and A-rod are seeing a therapist during the quarantine.
“I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship,” she said.
At that time, she also said that their wedding will “happen when the time is right.” Given that they had to postpone their wedding during this pandemic, Lopez said that “it’s not a huge priority right now.”
The magazine gathered from sources that Rodriguez is currently in Miami preparing for baseball season, while Lopez is in the Dominican Republic filming a movie.
