Weekly horoscope: What's ahead for your zodiac sign in life and love this Sept. 28-Oct. 4
Your weekly horoscope is here.
Professional astrologer Monica Morales of OM.MNL told PhilSTAR L!fe that this week "could feel more intense than usual."
"Mars enters Leo, Mercury moves into Scorpio, Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio, and Mars opposes Pluto. Mercury also squares both Mars and Pluto, so conversations, decisions, and tensions can escalate quickly," she said.
"Themes around relationships, money, work, control, and competing priorities may become harder to ignore. Venus retrograde begins a longer review of what we value, what we want, and what is still worth investing in, while Mars opposite Pluto can bring power struggles, pressure, or the urge to force an outcome," she added.
We're in for a reality check by week's end, according to Morales. "What surfaces now may not be resolved immediately, but it can show you what needs to be confronted, renegotiated, or reconsidered."

(Note: For a fuller look at what's ahead, it's best to read your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs altogether. Your Sun reflects your core identity and the week’s central themes, your Moon speaks to your emotional world, while your Rising sign can offer clues to where these developments may show up most visibly in everyday life.)
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Money, intimacy, trust, and who owes what could get complicated fast this week. Venus retrograde pulls an old financial or emotional arrangement back onto the table, while Mars and Pluto stir tension between romance, friendships, and competing priorities. A disagreement that looks minor at first could reveal who has more influence, who is carrying more, or who expects more than they are saying. By the weekend, you may have to decide what you are still willing to share and what now needs firmer terms.
Strong feelings can pull you in fast in love. Make sure there is something solid underneath them.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Relationships are entering review mode, and something that has been sitting under the surface may finally be addressed. Venus turns retrograde in your partnership sector just as pressure builds between home and career, making it harder to keep everybody happy. A partner, client, or collaborator may want different terms, more commitment, more space, or a clearer answer. Familiar does not automatically mean it still works.
If the relationship has changed, pretending the old rules still apply will not make them work again.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Something in your daily life is no longer running efficiently, and this week makes it difficult to ignore. Workloads pile up, schedules clash, messages get sharper, and one badly timed comment could turn a practical issue into a much bigger argument. Mercury in Scorpio helps you spot what is wrong, but do not waste that insight looking for someone to blame. Fix the process, change the routine, or deal with the problem before it starts running you.
In the romance department, do not let work stress write the script for a conversation that has nothing to do with work.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
This could be one of the more tempting weeks of the year for you. Romance, pleasure, creativity, spending, and desire all get louder as Venus turns retrograde in your fifth house. But Mars opposite Pluto brings money and shared resources into the picture, so something you want may come with a price, obligation, or expectation you did not see at first. Enjoy what is exciting, but read the fine print before you give it more than you intended.
In relationships, what you want may come with conditions, expectations, or a cost you need to see clearly.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)
Mars enters your sign, and your patience for waiting, negotiating, or being told what to do drops considerably. You are ready to move, but Pluto in your partnership sector means somebody else may be just as determined to hold their ground. Add family or home issues resurfacing under Venus retrograde, and the week can become a battle over who decides what. Pushing harder may get a reaction, but not necessarily the result you want.
Chemistry can turn competitive quickly. Do not confuse winning with getting what you actually want.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
A message, conversation, document, or piece of information could change the direction of your week. Mercury moves into Scorpio and immediately runs into Mars and Pluto, so words have consequences now. Something said casually could expose a bigger work issue, hidden frustration, or something that has not been said before. Listen closely, verify what you hear, and do not fire off a response before you know the whole story.
What gets said this week about your relationship may tell you more than all the guessing that came before it.
Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)
Your money is asking for your attention. Venus turns retrograde in your second house, putting income, spending, self-worth, and what you are willing to pay for under review. At the same time, friends, social plans, romance, or creative projects may compete for the same time and resources. If you have been saying yes too easily, this is where the bill arrives. Decide what actually deserves your investment.
If you keep adjusting around someone else, make sure you are not editing yourself out of the picture.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)
Venus stations retrograde in your sign, putting your desires, choices, relationships, and sense of direction under review. You may suddenly question a look, a relationship, a desire, a decision, or even the version of yourself you have been presenting to everybody else. Meanwhile, career pressure clashes with home or family demands, making it impossible to give everything equal attention. You do not need to reinvent your entire life this week, but something about how you are showing up is ready for a serious review.
In love, the bigger question may not be who you want, but who you are when you are with them.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Something you thought you were done with may not be finished after all. Venus retrograde in your twelfth house can pull an old feeling, attachment, regret, or unresolved situation back into your awareness, while Mercury in Scorpio makes it harder to keep avoiding what you already know. Meanwhile, debates around travel, study, beliefs, publishing, or communication can get surprisingly heated. You do not need to explain yourself to everyone.
Before you reopen an old door in love, remember why it closed in the first place.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)
A friendship, alliance, group, or long-term goal may start looking very different this week. Venus retrograde asks whether the people around you still belong in the future you are building, while Mars opposite Pluto puts pressure on money, debt, shared resources, and who contributes what. Someone’s expectations may become much clearer once money or support enters the conversation. Pay attention to who is genuinely invested and who is simply benefiting from the arrangement.
Talking about a future together with someone you love means very little if nobody wants to discuss what it actually requires.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
Career and relationships collide this week, and you may find yourself right in the middle of it. Venus retrograde in your tenth house makes you question what you want professionally, how you are being seen, or whether the definition of success you have been chasing still fits. At the same time, Mars in your partnership sector opposes Pluto in your sign, making another person unusually confrontational, demanding, or hard to ignore. Do not let somebody else’s pressure decide your next move.
Attraction can be powerful this week, but so can the urge to resist anyone who seems to have too much influence over you.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)
A plan involving travel, study, publishing, legal matters, or a bigger life direction may need another look. Venus retrograde in your ninth house brings you back to something you thought you had already decided, while Mars and Pluto expose just how much your workload, health, or daily obligations are affecting the bigger picture. By the weekend, money or shared-resource concerns could force you to choose what matters most right now instead of trying to do everything.
In relationships, a difference in direction matters more than a difference of opinion, so find out which one you are actually dealing with.
