Confirmed: TWICE’s Momo and Super Junior’s Heechul have parted ways
TWICE’s Momo and Super Junior’s Heechul have reportedly broken up, one year and six months after they confirmed their relationship.
The celebrity couple’s breakup was confirmed by JYP Entertainment and Label SJ, their respective entertainment agencies, on July 8, Thursday.
“We’ve checked with the artist, and it is true that they broke up,” the two agencies confirmed to Sports Donga via Soompi.
Label SJ also requested media outlets and fans to “please understand that we cannot answer the details of it as it is the artist’s private life.”
Momo and Heechul’s relationship was first made public in January 2020, after previously denying reports that they're dating.
While it’s unknown when did Momo and Heechul start dating, they first crossed paths in a 2016 episode of the variety show Weekly Idol.
Fans have been posting mixed reactions after the reported break-up.

just because something eventually doesn't work out doesn't mean it never worked out. happiness is not cancelled out by unhappiness. a relationship is not cancelled out by its end.
