Buckingham Palace responds to Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah
The British Royal Family has finally broken its deafening silence, a few days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, saying in a statement that they were "saddened" and that the issues raised were "concerning."
"The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan," the statement issued by Buckingham Palace on behalf of her Majesty the Queen reads.
The statement also says that the allegations made, particularly on race, are "concerning" and that hey are keen to work out their issues privately as a family.
It added, "Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."

The interview with Winfrey last Mar. 7 is the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first sit-down interview since stepping back from life as senior royals. In the interview, the couple cleared out several allegations about them including Prince Harry "blindsiding" the Queen, and Markle on making Kate Middleton cry on the former's wedding day.
The Duke and Duchess also revealed some shocking revelations involving the Palace including racism around son Archie, a rift between Prince Harry and his father Prince Charles, and Markle suffering from mental health issues.
