It’s official! Big Bang’s Taeyang and Min Hyorin are expecting their first child
Taeyang of the K-pop boy group Big Bang and his wife, actress Min Hyorin, are becoming parents!
Plum Entertainment, Hyorin’s entertainment agency, confirmed the actress’ pregnancy after Korean newspaper Hankook Ilbo said she’s about to give birth soon, according to a report from Soompi.
“It is true that Min Hyo Rin is expecting. She is waiting joyfully. As she hopes to give birth quietly, we ask for your understanding in not being able to respond to further question,” the agency’s statement read.
The confirmation, however, didn’t mention how far Hyorin is with her pregnancy or her due date.
Taeyang and Hyorin first met in 2014, when the actress starred in the K-pop star’s music video for the track 1AM.
The couple confirmed their relationship in 2015 and got married in February 2018.
Taeyang debuted as the main vocalist and main dancer of the Big Bang in 2006.
Hyorin has appeared in K-dramas such as The Happy Loner, Romance Town, and Triple. She's also one of the leads in the 2019 film Race to Freedom: Uhm Bokdong.
