Janella Salvador introduces son Jude: 'You’re too precious not to be shared'
Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson finally admitted that they are, indeed, new parents to a baby boy.
The couple introduced their son via a video titled “Hey, Jude,” uploaded on their YouTube channel on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
In the video, Janella and Markus revealed that their son is named Jude.
The video, addressed to their son Jude, includes clips of Janella while she was still pregnant up until she gave birth in October.
Janella admitted she was nervous about sharing the news of her motherhood.
“If I’m going to be honest, I was quite nervous about this day. Because I know how harsh the world could be,” she said.
But she added, “If your dad and I could have you all to ourselves forever in our own quiet little world, we would. But that would be selfish. You’re too precious not to be shared.”
“There aren't enough words to express how much love I have for you. The minute I saw you, I knew I would do anything in this world to protect you,” Markus told Jude.
The video also confirmed reports that Janella left the Philippines for the United Kingdom, where Markus is based, in September.
The video also included messages from Janella and Markus’ family and friends, including Erich Gonzales, Kyle Echarri, Maja Salvador, and Janella’s mother, singer Janine Desiderio.
“I know you came to us as a surprise, but you are one pleasant surprise that we all don’t mind having,” Janine said.
Reports that Janella was pregnant surfaced in September, but the actress remained mum about the rumors until now.
