LIST: Adjusted mall hours during Holy Week 2023

Holy Week is one of the most important holidays for most Filipinos. Apart from being the time to practice Catholic traditions, the season allows each and every member of the family to be united again. For some, it could also be a time to hold getaways or visit popular tourist attractions.  

However, summer’s not making our reunion cool in any way. With that, some of us opt to visit malls to relax, enjoy and make memories with our loved ones.  

But before you hop into your cars, make sure that the mall where you are going to is open during the holiday. Let this list of adjusted mall hours be your guide in planning your activities in the coming week.

SM Malls

SM Malls released a guide on its website about its adjusted mall hours this Holy Week. All of their malls are operating as usual from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., or up to 10 p.m. for some malls, from April 3 to 5. 

Most of the malls, excluding SM City Baguio, SM By the Bay and SM City Puerto Princesa, are closed on April 6 and April 7 (Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.) SM City Baguio and SM By the Bay will remain open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the said days, while SM City Puerto Princesa will welcome visitors from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Maundy Thursday,

Meanwhile, all other SM Malls closed during the holiday will resume operations on April 8 from 10 a,m. to 10 p.m.

Ayala Malls 

As stated on Ayala Malls' website, all of its malls will be open until from April 3 (Monday) to April 5 (Wednesday). Most will be closed on April 6 and 7 except for the following:

  • Serin: Open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 6, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on April 7.
  • Solenad: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on April 6 and 7
  • Harbor Point: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 7 and 7
  • Shops at Serendra and U.P. Town Center: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on April 6; closed on April 7

All Ayala Malls will return to their regular mall hours beginning April 8. 

Robinsons Malls 

In an advisory Robinsons Malls shared on March 31, the mall chain announced that all of its branches will operate on regular hours from Holy Monday to Wednesday.

The following day, Maundy Thursday, all Robinsons Malls will be closed except for the ones in the cities and municipalities below. These malls will continue to operate per the usual schedule.

    Meanwhile, only Robinsons Malls in Antipolo, Luisita, La Union, and Tagaytay will remain open. on Good Friday.

    These four malls and the rest of the Robinsons chain will go back to regular mall hours on April 8.

    Megaworld Lifestyle Malls 

    Megaworld Lifestyle Malls will remain closed on April 6 and 7 except for the following:

    • Southwoods Mall: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 6 but closed on April 7
    • Newport Mall: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on April 6 but closed on April 7
    • Twin Lakes Shopping Village and Twin Lakes Tagaytay: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m on April 6 and 7
    • Newcoast Beachwalk: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 6 and 7

    All Megaworld Lifestyle Malls will return to regular schedule on April 8, except for Forbes Town which will open on 12 noon and close at 9 p.m. that day.
