Miss Universe queens Catriona Gray and Zozibini Tunzi to host Miss South Africa 2021
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi are hosting the pre-show and backstage for Miss South Africa 2021 this October.
The beauty queens shared the news on their respective social media accounts.
“Hey South Africa! I’m so so excited to be returning to your beautiful Rainbow Nation as your PRE-SHOW and BACKSTAGE HOST for the upcoming @official_misssa Pageant,” said the Australian-Filipino celebrity.
Tunzi, on the other hand, called it a "full circle moment."
"In 2019 I was crowned Miss SA. In 2020 I was a judge and this year I'm excited to announce that I will be a backstage Co-host for @official_misssa 2021," she wrote.
According to the organization, the two Miss Universe queens "will be giving you a taste of the finale show as well as backstage access to all the behind the scenes content during the Pre-show, as well as interviewing your newly crowned Miss SA 2021!"
The current Miss South Africa 2020, Shudufhadzo Musida, will be passing on her crown to the winner at the 63rd edition of Miss South Africa pageant on Oct. 16 at the Cape Town Grand Arena.
The winner and the runner-ups will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2021, Miss World 2022, or Miss Supranational 2022.
