Uniting for a stronger, cancer-resilient nation

Published Feb 25, 2025 2:30 pm

The fight against cancer demands urgency, collaboration, and innovation. The Philippine National Cancer Summit (PNCS) 2025 is a clarion call to action, rallying the nation’s foremost healthcare leaders, policymakers, patient advocates, and global experts to reshape the future of cancer care. Set for Feb.  27-28, 2025, at Novotel Manila, Araneta City, this year’s summit, themed “Stronger Philippines: Building a Resilient Cancer Care Ecosystem,” is a game-changing event in the national battle against cancer.

Hosted by the PCS Cancer Commission Foundation (PCS CANCOM), PNCS 2025 will ignite critical conversations and drive concrete solutions to improve cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship in the Philippines. This high-impact event will focus on breaking barriers to access, amplifying patient-centered care, and accelerating the implementation of the National Integrated Cancer Control Act (NICCA) to ensure no Filipino is left behind in the fight against cancer.

With a powerhouse lineup of speakers, groundbreaking research presentations, and collaborative workshops, PNCS 2025 is set to be a turning point in the nation’s cancer care landscape. Stakeholders will forge strategic alliances, define best practices, and commit to bold, transformative actions that will elevate cancer care standards and survival rates across the country.

Dr. Manuel Francisco Roxas, chairman of the PCS Cancer Commission Foundation, underscores the importance of a collective approach: “Building a resilient cancer care ecosystem requires a multi-sectoral, whole-of-society approach, understanding that each patient requires evidence-based, personalized care, and services provided by the whole spectrum of healthcare workers coming together.”

The PCS CANCOM Foundation, a driving force for change, is at the forefront of this movement. It empowers the nation with multidisciplinary, multisectoral, and patient-centered initiatives.

This is the moment. The time for change is now. Join the PNCS 2025 and be part of a historic movement towards a cancer-free Philippines.
