The sister of Coleen Garcia's stepmom was found dead with over 15 stab wounds in Antipolo.

Coleen, in a Facebook post, detailed what happened to her relative Canice Minica O. Seming last week as she shared some photos of the person of interest (identified as Art Tondo Villacastin) in the case. "Two nights ago, he made his way into my dad’s house and stabbed my stepmom’s sister, Canice, to death. She was found to have over 15 stab wounds," she wrote, adding that he has a record of drug abuse, and "is suspected to have been under the influence that night."

According to the actress, the man used to work for her father as his carpenter and even helped her complete her home. Her dad, however, later dismissed him after finding out that he's a drug user, while the latter's former partner (Mary Ann Garnica) continued to serve as a nanny to Coleen's younger siblings.

Mary Ann said he left and blocked Art after their split, claiming that he has been "constantly threatening" her and at one point even bared his plan to kill her seven kids.

"He never threatened my family prior to what happened. Canice had just arrived in my dad’s house, and he showed up looking for his partner, who was at our house at that time with my family," Coleen shared.

In an interview on GMA's 24 Oras, the victim's brother-in-law Jose Garcia said the stabbing took place in their family home on Dec. 20, just before midnight. "The worst Christmas ever. We were looking forward to having fun this Christmas kahit simple," he said.

Coleen said that what happened "was, and still is, completely devastating for the whole family."

"I feel sick and weak every time I think about the children, who were supposed to be there that same night. They were on the way home from our house when it happened, and the three children were in the car when the body was found. Had their original plans been followed, the children would have been there at that same time," she added.

ABS-CBN News reported on Sunday, Dec. 24 that the POI has been arrested in Pasig City.
