Bong Go, Erwin Tulfo, Tito Sotto lead March 2025 Pulse Asia survey on senatoriables
Reelectionist Bong Go is a top preference for senator in the 2025 midterm elections, according to the latest Pulse Asia survey.
The "Pulso ng Bayan" survey, which was conducted from Feb. 20 to 26 and was released on March 13, showed Go joining ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo in the top spot, sharing 1st to 2nd places. Go was ranked 2nd to 3rd last time, while Tulfo was the only top senatorial aspirant.
Former senate president Tito Sotto placed 3rd to 4th in the list.
Candidates who didn't make it to the "Magic 12" include Sen. Imee Marcos, ex-senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan, former interior secretary Benhur Abalos, and action star Philip Salvador.
Pulse Asia said that out of 64 senatorial candidates, 13 of them have a statistical chance of winning.

Pulse Asia also found that 38% of Filipino registered voters, or a little over a third, have a complete senatorial slate. That's lower than the January 2025 survey's findings, which were at 50%.
The midterm elections are set to take place on May 12. Overseas Filipinos may vote from April 13 to May 12, while local absentees—Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine National Police, and media practitioners—may vote from April 28 to 30.
There will be a total of 18,272 national and local positions in the upcoming elections.
Campaign period began on Feb. 11.
A gun ban is also in place from Jan. 12 to June 11.
