Motorists can now check NCAP violations via the eGovPH app

Motorists can now access services related to the No Contact Apprehension Program through the eGovPH app, making it easier to check and manage traffic violation records online.

This helps motorists have a "more secure, accessible, and centralized platform for checking and managing traffic violations."

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Atty. Don Artes noted that the agency's MayHuliKa website has already recorded more than 15 million site visits, over 11 million traffic violations checked, and more than 2.7 million unique users.

He said this shows the "growing number of Filipinos embracing digital government services because of their accessibility and convenience."

Motorists can access the service by searching for the MMDA NCAP feature on the eGovPH app and registering their vehicle using its plate number, OR/CR details, and other required information.

Once registered, users can view their vehicle’s recorded violations, including the date, time, and location of each offense.

On concerns that users' digital information may be put at risk, officials assured that all transactions made through the eGovPH Super App are protected by 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring.

It also has encrypted data transmission to safeguard users' personal information and ensure compliance with data privacy standards.
