A Nintendo authorized store is opening at SM Makati • PhilSTAR Life

Good news, gamers! A Nintendo authorized store is finally opening in the Philippines.

SM Makati gave a peek at the upcoming shop in a Facebook post on April 24.

"Wahoo! SM Makati welcomes Nintendo's first authorized store—opening May 2026!" it captioned a photo of a sign which bore iconic video game character Mario's face along with "coming soon."

There's not a lot of details yet about the shop, but the Nintendo Authorized Store's Facebook page indicates that it will be located at the second level of SM Makati.

Nintendo, a Japanese video game company, is known for major franchises such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Donkey Kong, Super Smash Bros., Splatoon, and more.

Its most recent console is the Nintendo Switch 2, the successor to the popular Nintnedo Switch.
