Attention, stargazers! PAGASA is offering free planetarium shows this August
Space enthusiasts have something to look forward to this August as they can join planetarium shows and telescope viewing sessions for free.
In celebration of Philippine Space Week 2026, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration announced that it's organizing several planetarium shows from Aug. 10 to 13.
The free shows will be held at the PAGASA Planetarium in the Science Garden, Quezon City, with sessions scheduled at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.
Apart from these, you can also have a chance to admire stars through a telescope viewing on Aug. 13. It will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the PAGASA Astronomical Observatory, UP Diliman.
There is no need to make any reservation as the activities are open to the public on a walk-in basis. However, be sure to arrive early as guests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
