GameZone, the newest game offering from the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 company DigiPlus Interactive Corp., had a big night on May 28. The newest brand under Gamemaster Integrated, Inc., a subsidiary of DigiPlus, introduced not just its redesigned gaming platform and fresh logo but also a familiar face as its first brand ambassador: Vice Ganda.

It’s a partnership based on mutual support of responsible gaming.

“It’s nice that she and GameZone share the same views. We both believe that gaming is not an acceptable way of living and does not solve financial problems. Gaming is just for entertainment,” said Gamemaster Integrated, Inc. president Jasper Vicencio. “We can’t wait to do more collaborations with Vice Ganda.”

Echoing Vicencio, Vice Ganda shared how she champions playing responsibly. “If you have just enough money, we’re not inviting you to play. Only play if you have extra money. You have to know your capacity and your limits,” she said.

“Know your limits before you play,” says Vice Ganda during her launch as GameZone’s endorser.

It was their shared principles that motivated Vice Ganda to accept GameZone’s offer to become their first endorser. At her request, GameZone readily agreed to include a reminder to play responsibly in all their marketing materials.

“When they agreed to that immediately, I signed on quickly,” said Vice Ganda, who had a long list of potential endorsement deals but ultimately decided on GameZone because of their similar perspectives. “Ang kagandahan sa partnership na ito, GameZone and I share the same goal of giving entertainment to the people who support us. At the same time, we share the same concern and care for them.”

1990s nostalgia

Along with Vice Ganda’s introduction as GameZone’s endorser, the youngest gaming platform also officially launched the card game tongits as one of its main featured games. Tongits gained popularity in the 1990s, when it seemed it was played everywhere, from college dorm rooms to street corners.

Vice Ganda is introduced to the media as GameZone’s first brand ambassador on May 28, 2025 at the EDSA Shangri-La.

With its cutting-edge, player-focused platform, GameZone is revolutionizing digital gaming. Players used to online betting experiences find an entirely fresh experience with this platform. It has a live-streaming capability and an exclusive Player vs Player (PVP) mode for tongits. With real-time interactions with live players, GameZone raises the enjoyment factor in all its games. Players also enjoy a diverse range of classic card and betting games, which deliver a unique level of engagement and competition.

GameZone continuously pushes against the boundaries of online gaming innovation, creating a platform designed specifically for the next generation of gamers.

World-class responsible gaming

“We are committed to our mission, which is to provide world-class entertainment for Filipinos,” said Vicencio.

“Our mission is to provide world-class entertainment to Filipinos,” says Rafael Jasper Vicencio, Gamemaster Integrated, Inc. president.

To do this, GameZone revealed its fresh interface, giving it better navigation, and consequently raising the fun level of any game on the platform. Everything is easy to understand on this new platform. Vicencio says user experience is crucial to customers’ enjoyment. That is why the company will be regularly rehashing its interface. It aims to meet customers’ high expectations and keep raising the bar in online gaming.

With the relief and relaxation that GameZone brings, Vicencio is adamant about keeping the spotlight on the company’s—and Vice Ganda’s—advocacy.

“One of our highest priorities is to promote responsible playing,” said Vicencio. “We won’t get tired of reminding everyone the importance of responsible gaming, even if we have to do it every day.”
