Finding someone you share the same birthday, although not uncommon, never fails to be a little of a surprise for most of us. Now just imagine the shock that a mother of three got when she gave birth to not just to one but three kids on the same day in different years.

Pamn Hazel Cabañero, an elementary teacher in Pakil, Laguna, and a mom of three has hit the one-in-a-million chance to give birth on the same date thrice every after three years.

On Feb. 17, her children went rounds on social media after Pamn posted a glimpse of their birth certificates, showing that she gave birth on the same date thrice.

“Hindi ko inasahan pero ipinagkaloob!” she wrote in the caption. “Every 3 years dumadating sila at saktong January 27 pa ipinapanganak! Yung matres ko ayun lang yata ang kilalang date eh...” the mom of three said, sharing the she had undergone normal delivery for her three children.

“Saganang salamat po Mahal na Panginoon sa kakaibang pagkakataon na ito!” she concluded in her post, with hashtag #January27Trio.

Her firstborn Maclean Herz was born on January 27 in 2017, her second, Lady Lemon, was born on the same date in 2020, and most recently, Mcherly Gold was born on the same day this 2023.

Both happy and surprised parents shared that they did not plan any of it. “It's not planned po,” Pamn told PhilSTAR L!fe, “We are amazed kung paano po nangyari ito.”

Pamn shared that other than being able to prepare for just one birthday celebration every year, another perk of it is that their children get to remember each other’s birthdays.

“Advantage din siguro na lagi nila maalala na icelebrate birthday nila kahit simple lang[,] dahil malaking blessings ‘yun para sa kanila,” she told L!fe.

Over the moon for receiving many positive reactions online for having been able to experience such an unusual event, she said, “Hindi ko pa po maisip disadvantage sa ngayon.”

Having a consistent three-year interval, Pamn shared that they have no plans yet on having a baby no. 4 in 2026, but hinted that they are open for possibilities. “Tingnan po natin if ipagkaloob po ulit ni Lord," she said.

Above all, Pamn wishes nothing but the best for her children, including having good health and always be there for each other.

She said, “Magmahalan sila palagi hanggang po pagtanda nila, tulad ng pagbubuklod sa birthday nila at maging mabuting bata.”
