The race is over for MrBeast's thousand-dollar birthday giveaway as the renowned YouTuber has announced the lucky winners of his gimmick.

In case you're late to the party, MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, celebrated his birthday by announcing that he will be handing out a whopping $50,000 (P2.78 million) to five lucky Instagrammers, with each receiving $10,000 (P558,000).

In order to win, the famous internet personality instructed that his followers must share the picture that he posted of him surrounded by lots of cash to their respective Instagram Story and tag others in the comment section of his post. He also said that joiners must be following his account so he can reach out to them in case they win.

Days later, however, Instagram deleted his post for undisclosed reasons, but not before the famous internet personality gained a massive number of followers in 72 hours.

MrBeast assured fans who have already qualified for the raffle that his birthday giveaway will still continue, as his team have been keeping track of their names.

He also decided to increase the winners from five to 10, skyrocketing the amount that he will give to a total of $100,000 (P5.56 million).

As the deadline now finally comes to a close, MrBeast took to his Instagram story to share the lucky winners:

  • @elterrycrewsvenezolano
  • @k.yra.owens
  • @alanhesa

MrBeast emphasized that these people are the only ones who won and that anything other than that is a scam. He also shared that he is planning to do more giveaways to his fans in the future.

The YouTube star gained prominence for his content that revolve around expensive stunts, such as recreating the popular South Korean survival series Squid Game by recruiting hundreds of participants to play the viral show's games—sans the deaths. Recently, he made headlines when he helped 1,000 blind people get cataract surgeries.

All of these made him one of the most subscribed content creators on the platform, having 152 million as of writing.
