The UPCA results are out!

The University of the Philippines’ Office of Admissions has released the results of the UP College Applications for A.Y. 2022-2023.

The OADMS set up a system to manage website traffic, with time slots based on the applicants’ surnames.

  • A to F: 8:00 a.m. to 10:59 a.m.
  • G to M: 11:00 a.m. to 1:59 p.m.
  • N to S: 2:00 p.m. to 4:59 p.m.
  • T to Z: 5:00 p.m. to 7:59 p.m.
  • A to Z (free for all): 8:00 p.m. onwards

To find out your exam result in the online portal, just type in your username and password that you used during the application period.

Note that if you changed your registered email, you may message the UP Office of Admissions via email or the Facebook Online Helpdesk about your updated details.

Application did not turn out the way you wanted? According to the OADMS, you may file an appeal for admission to a degree program in another campus. Each one, however, has a different cut-off grade and number of available slots.

“Some campuses are not open to appeals,” the Office of the Admissions noted. You may check the campus websites to know which ones are accepting appeals. “Each campus may have additional criteria in processing appeals,” it added.

In 2018, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs detailed the process for making an appeal on their official website. Campus qualifiers to a specific campus “but who want to be admitted to another campus” may submit the requirements of their preferred campus to be accommodated by the Office of the University Registrar (OUR), which will then file the request for your UPG. “The campus OUR will inform you if you may be admitted.”

Non-qualifiers to the campuses they applied for “but who have University Predicted Grades that are 2.8 or better (in the UP marking system, “better” means NOT more than 2.8)” may also file an appeal. “Pick up your Non-Qualifier’s Notice (which contains UPG information) at the Office of Admissions and present your notice (if qualified to appeal) to the OUR of the campus where you wish to appeal,” said the OVPAA.
