These rich Filipinos made it to Forbes' 2022 Billionaires list

Forbes has released its World’s Billionaires list of 2022, with a total of 2,668 individuals making the list of the world's richest people amid the global recovery from COVID-19.

Tesla Founder Elon Musk remains the richest person in the world, with 236 newcomers being welcomed into this year's prestigious list. Musk is followed by Amazon head Jeffrey Bezos, who dropped off the top spot for the first time in four years after a stock drop with Amazon and charity initiatives.

French tycoon Bernard Arnaul remains the third richest person on Earth, with Bill Gates and Warren Buffet in fourth and fifth place.

But these household names aren't the only ones bringing in money to the global economy, as a total of 20 Filipinos have also made it to the Forbes annual rundown. Here are the 20 richest Filipinos in the country, and how much their net worths cost.

Manny Villar - $8.3B
