A woman allegedly hired someone to kill her daughter so she could call the latter’s house her own.
According to a report by Russian media, the 67-year-old pensioner said she would pay the contract killer almost P58,000 for the murder of her 48-year-old daughter, which would make her the official owner of her property.
Investigators said they met up on April 19 at a park on Odesskaya Street in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk region to detail how the hired killer would go about it, but he went to the authorities afterward to inform them about the woman’s brutal plan.
The would-be killer was advised to continue to play along so they could get enough evidence for the crime. He told her that he successfully completed the deed on May 3 and “stabbed her with a knife,” showing her the bag of the victim as proof of her death. The mother stayed true to her promise and transferred the money to the man’s account immediately.
Local media reported that the woman has been detained “and will soon be questioned about the circumstances of the crime. Investigators intend to apply to the court with a motion to select a suspected measure of restraint in the form of detention.”
The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
